A big list of the most common exercises:
Calf raises are one part of leg day you shouldn’t forget.
These are the various leg exercises you can do on machines.
Lunges are a great all around exercise. Use some dumbells to increase the intensity!
SQUATS. The best exercise on the planet. They burn more calorie per rep than any other exercise and they give you a nice ass. You can do body weight squats as well, but dont be afraid of the bar. I guarantee you can at least lift that.
Bicep curls. Ladies, don’t be afraid to do these, you’re not gonna look like a beastly man, you’ll just tone up your arms.
Tricep pull downs. If you’re doing biceps you need to do these two to keep your arm balanced out. You dont want awesome biceps and no triceps. Besides this will help get that trouble spot of the jiggly arms for women.
There’s also tricep dips. They burn like hell, but they work. Great for toning.
Back hyperextensions. A lot of people commonly mistake this as an abs exercise. I mean I guess you do engage your abs, but its more important that you lift and tighten your lower back when doing this exercise.
One armed dumbell row. This one you need to make sure youre not pulling up with your biceps and triceps, when you pull up, squeeze your shoulder blades.
These are both versions of the seated row. Again, make sure youre squeezing those shoulder blades together. Try not to use your arms too much. If you’re using too much arms and youre not feeling it in your back, try going down in weight and getting your form.
Bent over raises. Great for the shoulders.
Dumbell lateral raise. Another good shoulder exercise.
Seated lateral raise. Its the same exact one as the first one, youre just sitting down.
Shoulder Press. There is also a machine as well.
Lat pull down. This one its important to angle your body so your not just pulling it down vertically in front of you, because you’ll engage your arms more.
Wide grip upright row. This is a good combination for your shoulders and back.
Inclined Press. Can be done with dumbbells, on a machine, or with the bar.
Pec Deck. Chest exercise.
Bicycles. Great for abs, try not to do these two fast, hold for 2 or 3 seconds each rep.
Leg tucks. Great abs exercise.
